ABOUT TYHEE FINANCIAL
Tyhee Financial Services Ltd. is an Indigenous-owned and operated company based in Victoria, British Columbia, on the traditional territory of the Lekwungen peoples. We feature a diverse team of legal, accounting, and management professionals dedicated to the economic development and well-being of Aboriginal communities across the Province. The Tyhee team works closely with First Nations, Indigenous companies, and private corporations, many of whom carry on operations in remote and isolated areas.
Our goal is to engage collaboratively with clients and other like-minded service providers to build relationships that promote Indigenous prosperity, self-reliance, professional advancement, and ethical investment, all with a view to long-term sustainability.
We provide a wide range of solution-based financial and administrative services, including bookkeeping, accounting, payroll management, training, and business advice in several aspects of Indigenous fiscal management and self-governance. In addition, Tyhee Financial leads multi-party corporate and government negotiations in the areas of First Nations land claims, treaties, settlements, joint ventures, and resource management.
Tyhee Financial is also active at the grass-roots level, securing public and private funding for, and ensuring the successful implementation of, such projects as quality schooling; hot meal programs; art, sport, and wellness initiatives; community housing and infrastructure; cultural and language preservation; and access to information.
Here at Tyhee, we understand that each community is unique, and typical financial service companies may not fit the particular needs and views that vary from region to region. Tyhee Financial strives to bridge the service gap by fostering connections between communities and providing specifically-tailored financial expertise, mentorship, and support to suit the distinct issues and interests of tribal councils, band offices, and Indigenous-focused businesses and organizations throughout British Columbia.
